Well renovated interior. Could use some more coziness, a lot of cold concrete. Good location to Alfama.

Exterior was a bit shabby. Construction on units beside and outside in the courtyard was very noisy. View out balcony was very disappointing

There were only two small pillows. The internet stopped working various times. The electricity went out when I would blow dry my hair and no bottled water

Beautifully renovated apartment, in a great location in the Alfama district. Key pick up from a secure box by the door.

The house next door is being refurbished and the noise starts at 0730am. With earplugs it wasn’t a problem but be aware! No capsules for the coffee machine (2 would be nice as a welcome). Very clean except for multiple clumps of hair on the floor. They told me they Wouldn’t send the check in instructions until the tourist tax was paid but hadn’t provided me a way of paying it.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect for us. Right in the heart of Alfama. Very close to the Graça neighborhood that we enjoyed very much. It had a more authentic feel then the rest of Lisbon’s core. Lots of delicious bakeries and eateries. Regarding the room, it was nicely decorated, clean and we did not lack anything. We did not cook but had take out. A couch or comfortable seats would have been nice but there isn’t space for that. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 evenings we were there were rainy and cool so we didn’t spend time on the balcony where there are two chairs. We did not have any issue with the shower as reported in other reviews. Also we were there during week days and the nights were quiet. It’s a good thing there is not much car circulation on that street (especially at night) because we could hear everything through the door. So the one morning we stayed in bed a little later (8:30am), there was lots of noise. Bring ear plugs if planning to sleep later. One more thing to note is that we were there during October which is a cooler month so the temperature was fine for sleeping. I expect this appartement likely gets pretty hot during summer. There’s no AC but there’s a fan. Overall, there’s nothing that was really a bother aside from not having any opportunity for an early checkin or a place to leave our suitcases as we arrived at 9:30am and checkin is very late at 4pm. We had to leave our suitcases at a luggage locker at the train station.

The unit was very cute, comfortable and clean.

There was a difficulty in paying the Lisbon tourist tax with the links that they sent to us. The operators would not provide the code until the tax was paid. They were informed of the problem early in the day and we spent a couple of hours outside of the property trying to find a solution. Eventually the operators agreed to come to the property to collect the tax. They said that they have had this problem before.
