Location and styling of the property were great. The staff were easy to communicate with. Good amenities.

This property is really pretty and spacious, the pictures don’t really capture it, and it’s located in a nice and quiet residential area. I had a smooth check in and once contacted the owner I was allowed to check in earlier. The bed was comfortable, the place has a kitchenette, fridge and freezer.There’s no AC but there was a fan. Lovely balcony where to chill in the evening. The accommodation is really well connected,keep in mind it’s up hill but less than 10 min walk from the metro and has several buses and trams stops close by, overall it’s really close to the city centre and many attractions are less than 5 min walk away, and you can easily walk down town from there, which takes around 20 min downhill. To go back up from the city centre I would advice the tram 28 or 12. Also many restaurants and brunch spots also are close by.

the biggest issue with this property is the shower, the problem has been mentioned before in several old reviews, but assumed the problem had been sorted out. The drain in the shower does not actually work. It drains the water extremely slowly, so you’ll have to stop the shower every minute to let it drain otherwise it will overflow and flood the bathroom. Which is super annoying if you’re trying to take a decent shower. I really underestimated how bad it could have been. It’s not a little blockage, it seems like a plumping design issue. If it wasn’t for the shower this would have been easily a 10/10 property.

It is very clean, spacious with generous kitchen area. I like the balcony view. It is close to the cafe, market and local restaurant Tabernita which I love. It is located to hip neighbourhood Alfama.

Not so easy to get with public transportation. As i have to rely on 28E tram which is always packed with tourists. But there is 734 minibus which local people usually use but unfortunately not so reliable (sometimes i have to wait for 40 minutes)Otherwise Taxi is always an option.

The accommodation was fine, just that the shower was completely blocked upon arrival and flooded the entire apartment. The staff was rude even after the stay, blaming me that I didn’t close the door when I left the key in the box and closed the door as discussed.
