Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Vancouver

Beautiful hotel with friendly service and outstanding suites!

It was quiet and well-maintained.

The stay was good. The only complaint was that I ended up in an ADA unit and water soaked the floor of the whole bathroom because of a curtain and low curb.

Comfortable bed, spacious room. The kitchen was well stocked with plates & cookware, but the full-size refrigerator/freezer was LOUD. However, the room was very quiet besides that appliance. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with coffee available in the lobby around the clock. Large, clean pool area. Staff was efficient and friendly. My only major complaint is this property's $5 nightly charge for parking. Which felt a bit like an unapologetic money grab at a suburban hotel with ample parking.

We arrived in Vancouver very late on a Monday evening after driving from Maryland. We had originally reserved an AirBNB because we were travelling with our cat and thought it would be better to have more space. After realizing our AirBNB was in a bad location and had ants, we had to move very quickly. AAfter doing some research we chose the Residence Inn Portland Vancouver and we were so glad we did! The staff was friendly, everything was clean, and it was an overall wonderful experience. Probably the highlight of the trip was Saye. Every time she worked, she was always willing to jump in and provide whatever the guests needed. When we would return in the evenings, she provided a bright smile and happy greeting that just made our day. I'm so glad when everything went wrong we were able to get a room here - it really made the trip better!

I didnt the bathroom shower had mold on the bottom nut everything else was wonderful!

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very clean.

I wouldn’t stay at this property again. Room furniture is broken down and uncomfortable. Maid service left dirty dishes on counter. Breakfast was cold & dried out for eggs. Very unusual for a Marriott hotel.
