Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Vancouver

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. Kids loved the pool and breakfast buffet. My kid got sick in the middle of the night and Faye at the front desk was so accommodating with getting us fresh bedding. Thanks!

There was a homeless man sleeping near the parking area, and the parking lot had alcohol bottles and pop cans and debris in it. What I really liked was the friendliness of the staff especially the evening lady that loved my dog and the breakfast crew!!! They are the best!!!

i am an avid bonvoy stayer and have normally experienced excellent service. i did want to specifically mention my Vancouver Residence Inn stay and the above average, amazing customer service i received from an employee named Saye. she exemplifies what a traveler hopes for when they stay at a Marriott property. thank you!

The staff is amazing. When I went to check in I discovered my id was lost on the airplane. Saye was at the desk at the time and knew my family. They were able to vouch for me and I was able to attend the funeral I came there for. The rooms were amazing. Clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for the stay. I will be back. :)

The experience at this Residence Inn has been exceptional. Tracy the Sales manager graciously helped me and my wife ( who had special requirements for a handicap room) assist us perfectly. The housekeepers are also exceptional, especially Kadesha and Mariel also contributed greatly to meet our needs in maintaining the excellent experience we've enjoyed in our extended stay at this Marriot Hotel. This property is very well managed and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Checked in just after 5pm from a flight. Room was still not ready. I understand this can happen. Had an evening commitment. Finally received a text at 6pm room was finally available so we did not get to our room until after 930p from our evening commitment. Had to go to evening meeting without changing closes as we did not want to change in the car or lobby bathroom. Front desk (Saye) was very kind, apologetic, and offered Bonvoy points for the inconvenience without our even sharing the disruption to our evening plans, however we never received any points! Even when I asked about the points at check-out and lady said she would check on it and get them posted. I understand delays happen and are not always ideal, but do not offer Bonvoy points and then do not post them just makes the experience that much more disappointing service than not doing anything. I stay in Vancouver on business 5-8 nights a month usually at another Marriott hotel nearby. This was my first time staying at this Residence Inn and I probably would not stay at this hotel again. The hotel is otherwise decent but for me, bad service is a deal breaker!

We live staying here! Everyone is so friendly! We feel welcomed and “at home”!
