Regent Santa Monica Beach

From the minute you arrive the friendly staff are all over it, check in was painless, bags arrive at your room and are placed in holders or in the cupboard. The bell boy shows you the features of the room and where everything is and I’d suggest you listen as these rooms are packed with everything you can imagine. The rooms are bright, generous in size with a beautiful lounge and views from our room over the beach to the West This is a recently renovated ( opened October 24) hotel with gear to amenities and great staff,

Honestly I’m almost without words. The hotel is absolutely stunning from the moment you pull into the driveway. I used the Regents airport car service and my driver John was just fantastic. Was met at the entrance by a group of attendants who were so polite and gave me an excellent welcome. At check in I was met by Clare who had a welcome drink ready for my arrival. I was personally guided to my suite which when the door was opened for me I was so impressed. Absolutely huge and finished to the highest standards I’ve seen in a very long time, if ever. My stay has been so fantastic and the service absolutely over the top, I have to give a special thx to CLARE RDUOY who offered the best customer service I’ve ever had. Been here twice and was very impressed. Used to be the old Loews hotel which was dated and in dire need of a redo. The new owners spared no expense and the quality can be seen. From the coffee shop up front which is on par for coffee in the area, the staff greeting you on the way in (Fernando) and the wonderful restaurant staff. (Shannon and Kitty). The restaurants breakfast was similar to the coffee shop on par with other places in the area but felt that the quality of food and service is above many in the area along with an excellent view. I recommend sitting outside to enjoy! The dinner was great as well mostly got appetizers and a small main which was great. Prices are a bit above elevated but it’s on par for the restaurants on ocean and again you get quality service and food. For breakfast the breakfast platter is a good way to taste a few things and then for the dinner the bread service, a drink, appetizer and a main should be enough. Will be a regular here and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful resort, easy access to beach, all staff was superb in service. Had a weekend birthday celebration and the staff made sure all our guests were greeted and cared for in a most welcoming way. Thank you to Myra Castillo and all the great staff for a wonderful and memorable stay. Highly recommend it.

The hotel lobby looks very elegant and many restaurants are available .Everything is more classy than before and they now have a nice boutique and coffee shop !I love the ocean view in the lobby area and just sitting in the Lobby with friends !
