Regent Santa Monica Beach

Had the BEST spa day at the Regent Hotel Santa Monica! The Guerlain Spa is beautiful and so relaxing, Ciencia gave me an incredible massage that had me floating and feeling like a new person. Afterward, I grabbed a drink from Andrew at the pool bar (best drinks in town), lounged by the pool where Orlando took great care of me and shared a few laughs! I felt super welcomed and cared for thanks to Eddie, the manager. Antonio from security was kind and welcoming (he saved the day by charging my phone too)! Aurora at valet was sweet and kind. Such a great way to start the BEST spa experience I’ve ever had. The entire staff made the day feel luxurious and easy. Highly recommend for a little self-care escape! 10/10 experience!

The Regent Santa Monica is a luxury five star hotel in an excellent location. My wife and I have stayed at luxury hotels around the world. Among them the Four Seasons Tokyo, Waldorf Astoria Rome and most recently the Conrad Hilton Istanbul. The Regent is just ss good - certainly none better. The accommodations, staff, amenities, and services are all one could ask.

We recently stayed at the Regent Santa Monica Beach for five nights during my son’s college visit to Los Angeles. Although we frequently stay at five-star hotels such as the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton, this experience was truly exceptional and stands out as superior in terms of service and thoughtful attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, every interaction reflected genuine hospitality and care. We highly recommend the Regent Santa Monica Beach to colleagues, friends, and fellow travelers. We would gladly stay here again in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mom while visiting my daughter who is in school in LA. I haven't been to LA much until she moved here, and so far have stayed at the Fairmont Century Plaza, the Hotel Bel Air and the Beverly Hills Hotel. I agree with a previous reviewer that the overall vibe of this hotel is elevated and luxurious, but relaxed and totally unstuffy. It is one of the best places we have stayed in some time and I am anxious to return and bring my husband. The rooms are modern and super comfortable, and the best part is that they are all suite style so TONS of space. We stayed in a double queen which faced the street, and while there was a bit of occasional noise from passing cars, it didn't really bother us (and we are both very light sleepers). Bathroom was huge. Two huge tvs with the ability to stream, cast, etc which is always appreciated. Nice selection of complimentary snacks and beverages in the mini bar, and housekeeping kept our water bottles filled each time they came to visit. There is a water station in the hallway where you can refill the metal bottles provided in your room as well, which is nice. We had an afternoon snack at the bar which was delicious, and we ate breakfast two days in their restaurant Orla. Food was fantastic. Every person who took care of us at the restaurant as well as our several visits to the bar was amazing. Welcoming and fun, but still professional. We spent half a day by the pool with my daughter and her girlfriend and had such a relaxing time. The set up with plenty of umbrellas if you want shade was great, and no fighting for chairs. The pool staff was very attentive and like everyone else we encountered, really friendly and went the extra mile. We were talking about how one of us had never had a Bloody Mary and our waiter brought us a little shot glass sample so she could try it. We had not planned to visit the spa, but when we arrived and saw there is a Guerlain spa, we quickly called and were lucky to find availability for that Sunday afternoon. It was truly one of the best spas I have ever visited. Both in terms of the facilities, amenities, and the services. I'd come back to this hotel for the spa alone! We were talking about how even the duvet on the massage table- the weight and luxuriousness of it- was above and beyond. I commented on it when checking out of the spa and wondered what brand it was, and within a half hour received a text letting me know the answer. In sum, this was a great experience and I can't think of a single thing that could improve. I do not exaggerate when I say EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE we interacted with was incredibly warm, friendly and professional. From the guys working the valet and bell desk, to check in, to housekeeping, to the food and beverage outlets, and the spa. I haven't bothered to write a review on here in years, so suffice it to say that the fact that this stay prompted me to do so says something! I almost hesitated because I want to gate keep it, but they deserve the praise.

The best hotel in santa monica. Beyond exceptional

Just returned from a weekend at The Regent Santa Monica, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. Everything about this hotel is perfection. The rooms are modern, perfectly designed , and super comfortable—every detail was clearly thought through. The amenities? Flawless. From the pool to the spa to the gorgeous public spaces, it all felt elevated but still relaxed. The staff was next-level—warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. The bellman went above and beyond (thank you!), and every interaction felt like they really cared about making the stay special. And can we talk about the on-site shop? Chic, well-curated, and totally addictive. I could have spent all day there. This place nails luxury without being stuffy. A new favorite. Thank you, Regent Santa Monica! See you again soon. ✨He

Beautiful hotel, amazing brand new rooms. Excellent location right by the pier. Great for families, with a pool and hot tub looking over the ocean!
