Best hotel in LA, I believe.

Excellent

We booked a two bed suite with patio and firepit - and so glad we did as the room was gorgeous and huge with two terraces. And although it’s just above street level we had a great view of the beach and the pier which we loved. The service was impeccable (when they serviced our room they tidied our charging cables with little leather cable ties and put bookmarks in our books). The pool area was nice with loads of beds, although the pool itself is small! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing place beautiful atmosphere and surrondings. This hotel is one of my favorites of all.

Terribly incompetent and dishonest staff. for a 5 night stay, they placed a total of USD3000.00 pre-authorisation hold on our cards AND a USD1500.00 deposit for incidentals. Not only that, they denied ever placing so much hold on our cards despite being presented with evidence from our card statements. They then claimed that they had refunded 1 of the hold to my card already while my guest was still staying there, later changing the story to say that my guest had received the refund of USD500 in cash and she signed a receipt. When pressed for a copy of the receipt, they didn't have one and said there was video surveillance of her receiving cash. The only cash refund my guest received was for the USD1500 she placed as cash deposit, not the additional charges on our cards. When asked foro a copy of the video surveillance, they then changed their story to say she admitted in person that she received the refund. Their excessive and indiscriminate placing of pre-authorisation holds over 5 days raised suspicion with my bank and they froze my card/account, resulting in me not being able to pay for my guest's last 2-nights' stay at the hotel. Despite this being the hotel's fault, they refused to accomodate my request to delay payment by a few hours and proceeded to cancel the reservationi and kicked my guest out. I've stayed in many of the top hotels around the world, USD500 incidental hold per night is unheard of. I'd give 0 stars if i could

Best luxury hotel! Everything is taken care of with attention to every detail. Beach butler service, house car to take you around, amazing spa, gourmet restaurant, beautiful pool area. The rooms are spacious with a separate seating area and large bathroom. All amenities are here including steamer, Dyson hair dryer, plush slippers and bathrobes, beach bag, and room snacks are complimentary. Best hotel you will stay at in LA area!

Stunning hotel with lovely spacious rooms and terrific service. Remodelled extensively recently and they have done a terrific job. Orla’s Restaurant on property is excellent. For a family visit thoroughly recommended.
