Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Janesville

I was very impressed with the building and staff. Marisol is one of the friendliest and helpful hotel staff person that I have met in a while. She took a reservation phone call earlier in the day and assured me that a parking place would be available for my pick-up and trailer when I arrived. When I did arrive, the night staff was aware of my trailer and ready with a spot. The next day Marisol went out of her way to introduce herself, she remembered our talk the day before and wanted to make sure everything worked out ( which it did) . She also is a great ambassador for Janesville. She told all the about the revitalization of the town and the building art including a butterfly mural down the street painted by one of her relatives- which I saw on my walks. It would be nice to have more than one chair in the room. There is no where but the bed to sit. Not easy to just have the bed if you want to eat in your room. You have a microwave and refrigerator and one chair. We did have a good sleep. The bed was comfortable

The hotel was beautiful, clean and quiet. It’s walking distance to a lot of places. Customer service was excellent.

This truly was the BEST vacation ever! Cobblestone Hotel and staff were absolutely amazing! Beautiful hotel, inside and out! Very accommodating staff. The entire experience has me ready and excited to plan my next visit. The river right outside the doors made for great mornings and evenings. Anyone who stays here will want for nothing. You have yor own 1 bedroom suit, laundry facilities, pool, weight room, business center, snack store, restaurant, views and the list goes on. Thank you Cobblestone for an AMAZING week!!

Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. No signs of dust/dirt accumulations along edges of the carpet & wall or tile floor & wall. The hallways, elevators and entire hotel was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and great for my back issues. I highly recommend the Janesville, Wisconsin Cobbleston Hotel & Suites and most defenitly will stay there again. THANK YOU!!!

The location was amazing right on the river downtown and so much to do in walking distance. The staff was very helpful

Great location, along the river. Staff was attentive and helpful. Got some excellent recommendations for patio dining. We appreciated the housekeeping “on demand” rather than every morning. Very walkable area and lots of green space for the dog. Surprisingly charming downtown area. We’ll be back!

Desk help was very unfriendly especially at check-in. Acted like we were an inconvenience. Took my credit card and handed me the room keys and said you're all set. Not a mention of breakfast or wifi or any other amenities. There were not a ton of guests in the hotel, yet we were placed in the room directly adjacent to the elevator. Our headboard shared a wall with the elevator that went up and down at all hours of the day and night. Room was very dingy and there was trash left from previous guests in our room. Signs everywhere indicating the hotel was completely smoke free and guests would be fined, yet when walking through the lobby there was a distinct and obvious presence of fresh cigarette smoke coming from the area behind the front desk where employees were gathered. A few minutes later there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener that had been sprayed to cover it up. Considered eating in the steak house until we looked at the prices! No way could the food at this hotel be worth those prices.
