Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, Autograph Collection

Not very much at all I’m afraid.

The food was the worst we’ve experienced in the US by some distance. The room was small. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable my kids couldn’t sleep. $1100 for one night - an absolute rip off. And the location was a total waste of time.

Love the location and the atmosphere.

I encountered a bartender that doesn’t like her job, she did a horrible job making my drink and then tried to fix the existing one by just pouring more alcohol on top. When I received my receipt upon checkout the hotel was trying to charge me the tourism tax and resort fee that was already paid when I paid booking.com and when I expressed this to her she became very rude and said she doesn’t know why it would say that but said she’d waive the fees as a courtesy - she continuously cut me off when speaking and was extremely rude.

Clean and modern room. Nice dinning facility. Good food.

We requested an accessible room and got one, how ever the bed was so low to the floor it was extremely difficult to get out of the bed. The distance from the top of the bed frame to the top of the mattress was only about two inches and sank down to less than that when trying to get out. This caused the bed frame (wooden with sharp edge) to put too much pressure on the legs resulting in a lot of pain and some bruising. The room seem to be designed to force you out. For instance it would be nice to have a small table and two chairs for playing cards or eating a snack. There was only one comfortable chair and one straight back chair (uncomfortable) so if two people want to watch TV one needs to use the bed.

Had the BEST TIME!!!! Staff were amazing!

The hotel/ resort was awesome very clean / great staff/ nice amenities. My room location beach side was amazing. The food at the onsite restaurant was great as well. I have no complaints.
