We say here each time we travel to Baltimore for a cruise. Always comfortable and convenient for the cruise port. Many food options nearby. Price is always reasonable. Free breakfast is a real plus.

There was a basketball team that was there as soon as we checked in and the woman at the front desk allowed them to meet right in the lobby. in stead of putting them in a separate room. They were very loud and we could barely walk to the front desk. I could not even hear the attendant at the front desk try and check me in. It was loud and disrespectful to other guests. They should have been placed in a separate area.

The atmosphere of the hotel was not inviting from the moment we walked in due to a large group meeting right in the front. They never should have been allowed to sit right in the front area. The breakfast was ok but nothing great. The staff was ok there was just nothing exceptional about the experience.

When we checked in and went to our room it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, I went and asked the front desk about it because the hotel is listed as “smoke free” and the front desk proceeded to tell me that “our hotel is smoke free, but sometimes people smoke in their rooms.” It was after 9:00 at night when we checked in and left to go out to dinner, I missed a call from the hotel while at dinner so I walked back up to the front desk and was told “we were going to give you a refund, but you left.” Yes, we left to go to dinner because we drove 2.5 hours for an out of town wedding. Walls are VERY thin in this hotel. Do not get a room the first floor if you don’t want to hear stomping and running. Beds are very hard.

The Staff are wonderful, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are as well.
