Absolutely special and unique experience, living through the heritage of the palace but within the comfort of your own home. The vibe is chill, the rooms are unique, the grounds are stunning, and the pool area are to die for. Big shout out to Fabio who was a fantastic host and a great help.

Water pressure in the showers can sometimes be low, but it’s not an experience breaker.

Great authentic hotel. They don't want to be a hotel, they want to be an "experience" but you can stay as if you were at a hotel.... Not a traditional hotel, but still a hotel. Rooms are a bit eccentric and unique, especially some of the bathrooms, but we loved our experience. Fantastic old palazzo, with high ceilings, murals, unique rooms, courtyards and a fantastic garden, outside pool and bar. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding village is a remote Italian village, not that much to see, but a few charming restaurants, and it's fun hanging out on the piazza in front of the palazzo after dinner. Breakfast is a la carte in the garden and dinner can be arranged flexibly as well. would highly recommend if you're interested in exploring the southern tip of Puglia and Salento.

Palazzo Daniele is an extraordinary place! Old restored palace filled with art and design, super friendly and helpful staff. You encounter beauty at every corner of this place. I have just left and dream to come back there soon. We stayed at the black suite which was super spacious and had an entire roofdeck to our disposal. I was extremely charmed with the palazzo and our suite. It was one of the most magical places I have stayed at in my life. Location is perfect for discovering Salento. The downside are extra services: breakfast for 40Euro is too expensive... food is super delicious but too pricey. The same with cocktails. I was happy to hear about morning gentle yoga sessions but afterwards it appeared that they are not complimentary, instead cost 50Euro. Wifi is too weak.

The rooms are spacious, unique, and full of character. Think vaulted ceilings, curated artwork, and striking bathrooms—some with open-concept showers under six-meter-high ceilings. It’s luxury without pretension. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the space. The service is thoughtful and personal, yet never intrusive. The communal spaces especially the inner courtyard and black-bottom pool are tranquil and elegant. Breakfast and dinner are served with heart: local, seasonal ingredients prepared with care and often shared around a communal table that makes you feel like part of the home. If you’re looking for an experience that blends art, history, design, and soul, Palazzo Daniele is unforgettable. It’s not just a place to stay it’s a place to feel.

The food could have been better and the price of the breakfast was outrageous. It was an absolutely beautiful place but I’m not sure it was worth how much we paid.

The fact that there wasn’t a gym.

Palazzo Daniele is a class act. A beautifully restored palace, designer furniture and art, amazing warm service with open kitchen at its heart. Lovely sauna and pool area. The suites are gorgeous with vaulted painted ceilings and Roman mosaic floors. In a very cute town with a 5/5 restaurant Passotempo. All so charming and perfect.
