"Excellent Homestay"

The host (Rathnasiri) is just a beautiful soul. He wanted us to have a great stay and his customer service is excellent. He provided a welcome cold beverage for us and shared information about Kandy. The room was very clean and modern with excellent air conditioning and fantastic hot water. The WiFi was excellent. The morning breakfast is delicious and comes with fresh fruit and a fresh drink plus coffee/tea. All the staff were great and you can walk downhill from the place to Kandy Lake within 10-15 minutes. I would recommend staying here 100%.

We were on the 3rd floor and there's a large sitting area but no AC there so it gets pretty warm but that's really minor.

"Make sure to stay longer than 1 night - it's worth it!"

This was a wonderful homestay - we were really sorry not to be staying longer. The family were really friendly and helpful and the shared tea/coffee making area was a real bonus. We had a lovely balcony with a wonderful view of the hillside. An easy walk to the centre of Kandy. The breakfast was delicious. We just didnt stay long enough!

It was clean and it was nice that the noice from the city did not hear there. Very calm place. House owner is helpfull and we really enjoyed our stay here :)

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour à white lodge. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, un hôte au petit soin et très gentil. Belle chambre spacieuse avec frigo et bouilloire et une belle terrasse. Très bel extérieur fleuri Très bon petit déjeuner

"Nice room and helpful host"

Room was nice and quiet. Private balcony with a view. Nice bathroom. Host was very helpful with restaurant advice, and also got up extra early to cook breakfast for me at 6 AM.

About 300 m uphill from the main road, but tuktuks are easy to find and will take you all the way up. Without luggage an easy walk.

"Warm ontvangen, prachtige rustige locatie en een heel fijn verblijf!"

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad! We werden direct warm ontvangen met een welkomstdrankje en kregen meteen leuke tips en uitleg over Kandy. Daardoor voelden we ons gelijk heel welkom. Het verblijf ligt wat hoger op een berg, in een rustig gedeelte van Kandy. Juist dat vonden wij erg fijn, weg van de drukte maar toch dichtbij alles. Zeker een aanrader!
