I thought the location was very good, we found it perfect for our visit. It was a quick walk into town and a short taxi ride to the races. The hospitality was very nice, we were made to feel very welcome and they went out their way to please. We enjoyed the breakfast too, lots of choice of healthy options too.

The only thing that let the accomodation down was the shower, it took a while to get the temperature right and even then the water pressure was quite low.

freundliche begrüssung mit infos über york :) doppeltes kissen, wow. besitzer:innen wohnen nah, immer jemand erreichbar. geräumig für ein "kleines" zimmer, was wir gebucht haben. stadtzentrum sehr gut zu fuss erreichbar. bahnhof auch sehr nah (inklusive tipp für eine abkürzung vor anreise)

dusche war etwas niedrig für mich (185cm), scheint unter einer treppenschräge eingebaut. etwas eigenartiger geruch (putzmittel?) den wir etwas unangenehm empfanden, verflog mit der zeit. es gab ein fenster, aber von der treppe zum parkplatz hat man genau in unser zimmer geschaut (wir hatten die wahl zwischen dunkelheit und weniger privatsphäre). im kamin und in den radiatoren gab es schon eine menge staub (ansonsten aber sauber). insgesamt alles nicht so schlimm, würden beim nächsten mal vielleicht einfach ein anderes zimmer nehmen :)

Bedrooms a bit dated, room wasn't very big so kept knocking our legs off the wooden bed.
