It was a lovely old town house which had all the modern facilities. When you arrive it looks welcoming and fits the historic setting of York. Once in reception was easy to find and the staff welcoming. The room was clean and tidy and well equipped with all conveniences for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent. Breakfast was amazing with very attentive and friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully furnished and very well stocked.

The bath taps were difficult to turn off and you can hear the occasional train at the station.

An excellent guest house run by a very friendly, helpful lady. Staff all very pleasant. Room good with everything we needed. Excellent breakfast with a huge selection. Location is very good with a short walk to everything we wished to see.
