We love staying at the Ace. The hotel itself is wonderful and location is great!

Staff were friendly, facilities were clean and we appreciate that there was so much offered on site!

Over charged $1000 for a $200 room. Unfriendly staff unwilling to help or provide answers.

I love the Ace because of its pool being open till 2am. But this trip was great around the pool, minus the hot tub had a black film floating in it and was cloudy. So needless to say we did not go in the hot tub. Our room looked normal until morning when we woke up I felt something on my arm and it was a flea! I know they let dogs at the property but I would have expected better cleaning so that when people sleep there are no fleas crawling all over them. I took photos I’ll post on google soon. Truly sad to see such a great spot with so many positive things go to ruin. Last year they were tricking guests into staying at full price when their entire pool area was under construction and now this year - fleas in our bed! Super sad at this. Hopefully some new hotel group buys them out and makes it the way it used to be.

this is not a good hotel if you want to relax and get a good night sleep The pool is loud. There is no coffee in the room. There’s a charge for everything. The bed is very hard. The rooms are very small.

There was a fight that broke out in the pool between two men that was not broken up and when we called for security he stood there and did nothing said he didn’t want to get wet and let the two men stay in the pool while there were children around.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and have always loved it. The rooms are consistently clean, cool, and comfortable, which is one of the main reasons I’ve come back. This time, though, the pool experience really missed the mark. The hotel promotes a fun, day-club vibe with drinks and a live DJ, but in reality it felt more like a kids’ splash zone. There were children running around unsupervised, shooting water guns, and making it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. The hotel really needs to decide if it wants to be family-friendly (almost Disney cruise–like) or stick with the eclectic Palm Springs pool party vibe — because right now it’s unsuccessfully trying to be both. I also had an issue with housekeeping and check-out. At 11:30 a.m. (30 minutes before check-out), housekeeping walked into our room while I was in the middle of changing. Then when we left at 11:40, my boyfriend realized he had left a shirt inside. By then our keys had already been deactivated — even though check-out isn’t until noon. I find it really poor practice to deactivate keys before the official check-out time, especially without any indication from us that we had vacated the room. And while not a dealbreaker, $16 (before tip) for two cold brews from their coffee bar is pretty outrageous — especially for what was a very standard coffee. I’m bummed, because I truly do like this hotel and have had great experiences here in the past. But between the hectic, kid-heavy pool scene, the premature key deactivation, and overpriced extras, I’ll probably give my business elsewhere going forward unless the hotel can provide a more consistent environment.
