Fantastic room and bathroom. The food is excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A very friendly place which makes you feel immediately at home. The room was tasteful and so clean. Little touches like fresh milk and "proper" sized mugs in the room were appreciated. Good food and thoughtfully presented with a good choice of wine. Their array of local ales was impressive, sampled and enjoyed. I'd stay here again.

This was the third time staying here , we love the Hare & Hounds it’s become a little haven we have found , excellent place to stay, excellent service, excellent facilities. Can’t wait to stay again for our fourth visit! X

Lovely room, pleasant and friendly staff, excellent food. Perfect for a 1 night stay in the Lake District.
