Romantic Gem in Alfama

Great location in Alfama! The property was pretty comfortable.

Check in felt forced and hurried. We were charged a 30 euro late check in fee for arriving at 2030 and the was a mildew smell in the property

The location was good. Nice feel around!

Rather strong smell of dampness. Front door key lock needs fixing as it was not easy to open the door.

The location was very good. Some good bars/restaurants nearby and close to the train station which is handy for getting taxis. A short walk further on to reach the centre. Good apartment for us, spacious, comfortable, ground floor and very quiet.

Liked it all.

The apartment was in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the city centre / main attractions and the San Apolonia train station. The apartment was comfortable and had a lovely private seating area. It was easy to get in touch with the hosts if we had any questions / issues.

There was no plug for the kitchen sink, which made it tricky to wash up the dishes and when we used the rainfall shower the water spilled out onto the bathroom floor. We had an issue with the fridge door not closing however this was fixed very promptly by the host.

I liked that it was new and clean, it was a very stylish apartment and spacious.

Sadly, it was very loud with the neighbors on the first night. We tried not to mind that much but there were people upstairs until 5am

This hotel was in a good area. Very close to the flea market and within walking distance to several restaurants and other attractions

The cleanliness did not live up to our expectations. From the moment we walked in there was a lingering smell. We even had to buy cleaning supplies to shower as the bathroom was not cleaned. With that being said the staff was responsive and did bring in a cleaning crew later.

This apartment was a joy to stay in and our young children had a ball exploring the slim outdoor garden space which wrapped around the building and connected the double doors in the kitchen area to the double doors in the bedroom. Perfect play. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cookware, we were able to wash clothes in the washing machine and buy groceries for the fridge, the shower was great and the bed and sofa bed were delightfully comfortable. All of the above were spotlessly clean!! We were well taken care of by William, who was chilled out, informative, engaging and kind. He gave us many recommendations to suit our family and made communications seamless. Thank you William x We rented a car as the topography of Lisbon can be quite steep and we thought though beautiful our location might have been just a little out, however, we discovered a local a restaurant (A Parreirinha Do Paraiso) a couple of doors down from the apartment, it opened around 6 in the evening, and the prawns and black pork were incredible. There were also lots of little cafes and markets in the vicinity. A perfectly perfect stay. We most certainly recommend this accommodation x

It had a slight damp smell, clearly from the old building itself. Some days it was more noticeable -I think on some evenings, but it became a little endearing also..strangely enough! It certainly would not affect us returning as the apartment was maintained in high beautifully cleanly standards.

Loved all of the space we had in the apartment and the nice big shower. Plenty of closet space and drawers for our luggage. The full kitchen was great to cook breakfast.
