The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The radiator in one room was on full despite it being a hot day. There are a few complexities finding the right apartments in each block and using the door locks. The room by the road was quite loud with traffic, even with the windows closed. The rooms near the back were quieter. The ensuite was clean and modern. I was very impressed with how calm and friendly the reception staff were.

Excellent accommodation, cost-effective, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

Close to great restaurants and the staff was amazing.

Idéal location, perfect amount of space and privacy

The place looks completely different to photos in the room. The pictures shown are prespective views of what the room could look like.. after you've furnished it! The rooms are bare, no cleaning products available in room and bed was barely made. Staff wouldn't refund the two extra nights we booked even though we said we would stay one night because nothing else was available. Hotels.com did great and refunded us some money but yeah, do not book here unless you're a student or low on cash. Just book somewhere else, students were still in the communal areas so you can't freely use as it kind of implies in photos. There's not even a bin in your room to put waste in. The staff at the front are lovely and welcoming though, I just think the adverts are misleading.

Room was very clean, apartment facilities such as kitchen and living area are communal. No soap/ shampoo in bathroom. Short walk from city centre.

Amnis House is a superb budget option as prices in Cork on concert nights are very high. The location is brilliant, just beside the city centre and university, within walking distance of everything. I thought it was very clean and modern. By it's nature it's no frills but very comfortable. My room had a full window overlooking the river at the back as if it was in the country.

Lovely setting if you get a room on the river side, but the walls are paper thin. Every time someone open a door you can hear it. Only for heavy sleepers. It’s a shame cause the place is really lovely.
