Yugo Explore - Amnis House

My partner and I spent 2 nights @ Amnis House. The place is very well located - only 5’ walking from the city centre and main bus stops. The staff was very friendly and up to help with whatever was needed. The room was okay - although the mattress was a little uncomfortable. The biggest issue we faced was during the first night: we could hear people passing by our room’s door, opening and closing the door of their rooms; it sounded like some people were having a party in one of the rooms beside ours and we could listen everything from our room. The group stayed up until 3AM slamming the doors and we couldn’t have a good night’s sleep during our first night in. We recommend the place in case you are having a low budget trip but if you care about a nice night of sleep it might not be the best option.

Floor was very dirty. H to get a sweeping brush from the kitchen and swept a pile of dust and dirt from the floor. Chocolate stains in the floor. Looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in months.

Comfortable, clean and basic but with all essentials supplied. Staff very friendly with a warm welcome on arrival.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. Exactly what I was looking for for an ovrnight work trip. Good spot in the city, close to the centre.

This is student housing for the local university that is less than a year old. The building is a little west of rhe main tourist strip (about a 15 minute walk), so be prepared for walking. Everything is clean, brand new, and fully stocked. Fully equipped kitchen with fridges, cupboards, dishwasher and stove. Plates, glasses, cutlery all provided. The rooms are 6 in each section, and have heavy fireproof doors, so you can hear your neighbours coming and going. Over all, a great place to stay. Really helpful, friendly staff too.

This is a residential dorm during the school year. As such, the floors are tile and someone with "hard" heels will make enough noise that you will hear it in your room. The doors also make significant noise when closed hard. Quite suite mates make a big difference. The rooms are clean, and simple. Don't expect hotel amenities, such as a clock, TV, etc. I would stay here again, just need to keep my expectations somewhat different than staying in a hotel.

The location was convenient and quiet and a view of the river. Staff were nice and helpful. Useful to have an iron in the kitchen. The breakfast booking service with Centra is a bit unhelpful and e-mail did not work when \I tried to send it ae 21.45 befoe the 10 deadline. The duvet cover and sheet could have been ironed as I told staff before I left. A bit rich when you you pay over 80 euros in student accommodation just for the room. Also, it would have been useful to know that you could make coffee in the kitchen near room. All a bit minimalist really for the price.
