Not the best

A little more run down than others on our trip more of a working mans place.

My mom and I are handicapped. We walk but not far and not stairs. I asked for a downstairs room and got it, but when we drove around there were no parking spots in front of the room, no lot. We got in the room and I drive around the building for parking and walk back and the room is dirty. Dust on the counters, t.v. did not work. The clerk i called offered a new room but i had to reload everything in my car and unload. This room was slightly better. I had parking in front. Furniture is dated and night stand cracking. Cracks in the sink and water stains in the bathroom tile and tub. We also smushed a German cockroach. All in all, it was a one night stay and at least we were warm. With tax I paid $90 for one night. I thought that this price would get us something a bit better. I was not seeking luxury and have stayed in many many hotels in my travels. I will not stay here again nor recommend it.

It was convenient location for me meeting up with my family.

This is by far the best value in a hotel for Live Oak, FL I go down there 5-6 times a year and have stayed at each hotel. The bigger named hotels are flat out ridiculous in price for this area. The Econo Lodge has a much better breakfast than the others due to them bringing in brand name items to choose from. The only gig on the property is that it is older. The fixtures in the bathrooms, the beds themselves....all needing a little renovation. The staff will go out of their way to assist you with any problem that might come up....so all in all...I think this is the best place to stay when going through the area. I stay in hotels about 175-200 nights a year, so take my opinion for what it is worth. A big thumbs up!!!!!!!!

Older hotel, non smoking rooms still smelled of smoke, very noisy as trucks are leaving at all hours. Would not recommend unless your desperate. Hotel staff was very nice!

What i like is that the hotel is by a lot of eating places. Plus there is a really good chinese/country restaurant right across the street. Also Wal Mart is across the aas as well. So me being by myself i didn't have to go venture out too far for my needs and necessities.
