Great place to stay. Real nice people and very comfortable

I would have been a lot more stoked on this place if they at least had coffee prepared but otherwise, it was great. Nice and clean and cozy. The back area is actually a little magical. Coffee maker doesn't work in room 131

We have stayed at many budget friendly motels/ hotels over the years, BUT NEVER as nasty as this. In fact I can’t remember ever being in such a place. When we arrived, we were told it was a smoking room and we don’t smoke. That might have been my fault as my wife usually makes the reservations and I did this time and may have missed the choice for a non smoking room. The ad said Continental breakfast and when asked about it, we were told that there was no breakfast due to COVID. The toilet seat kept sliding to one side because 1 screw was either very loose or missing (didn’t want to look). No tissues and only the roll of toilet paper that was available until it ran out which almost happened during the night. The bathtub did not have safety strips and I almost fell it was so slippery. I suggested my wife take a bath instead of a shower and she said she wasn’t sitting in that thing. The refridge was actually in pretty good condition. However, the microwave was awful, dirty, rusty and burned inside and peeling inside. The floor did not seem as though it was laid properly and unevenness was very noticeable. It was also dirty. Burn marks were everywhere that a cigarette could be placed. The blanket had burn holes and there was some kind of thick sticky dark goo on the top cover of the bed. The bed was probably the best part. It was quite comfortable but squeaked and made cracking noises like crazy. If this was the last place left in town in which to stay, I would travel elsewhere!
