Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Champaign

When I took a shower, the bathtub filled up and did not drain. When I contacted the front desk, staff were rude, stating that problem could not be addressed until following week and refusing to provide another option for showering. Very disappointing to be treated so rudely!

This hotel is absolutely horrible, the property and rooms are filthy, the service is terrible, and the location is so bad. The hotel management was notified of my concerns and simply didn’t care. Stay elsewhere if your visiting the Champaign il area.

What a great place for a quiet sleep!!

Average property that could use a refresh. If it wasn't in a college town with limited hotels, it wouldn't be as used or popular.

It had a musty smell and was very outdated, especially for the cost

I usually like very much Fairfield Inn but I would not recommend this hotel. It is old and outdated and with mold in the bathroom. More over, I had a room issue that I was politely asking to be fixed with the front desk and very quickly the General Manager stepped in and became extremely rude. I’ve spent more than a 1000 nights at Marriott hotels and it is the first time I see such an unusual and unprofessional behavior from a GM. Avoid this hotel.

I am still uncertain that I will not be double charged for this stay. The front desk insisted they did not receive the payment from Hotels.com although I had a receipt that I had paid. This was due to a wrong expiration date of my credit card from the info the hotel received from Hotels.com. I spoke with a virtual agent and he told me the problem will be resolved. I got an email this am from the front desk that makes me not so sure.

A very old property needing renovation

I loved my week here. The staff was super friendly and it was nice and clean. I came back late at night alot and it was well lite every night. Thank you for the wonderful stay. I will definitely be back💓
