Hotel Heimatlodge

I would like to rate this property higher, but the check-in process and lack of any on-site staff made this stay much more stressful than I would like. You have to receive an email prior to arrival that you confirm your room and make payment and then they send a code to access your key to get to your room, and we rented three rooms but only got two emails (codes) which interstingly came 4 days apart even though all 3 rooms were rented at the same time. I tried emailing to get a 3rd email but didn't get any response, and trying to call the 2 phone numbers posted on-site to no avail (one would not connect and the other was just sent to Voicemail). We got very lucky and guessed the right code to access our 3rd room key. But then I wondered if the code was so simple to guess how hard would it be for someone else to access those keys as well??? Once we got into the rooms the stay was very good. Nice comfortable rooms - Good breakfast. Interestingly we got charged for the 3rd room at Breakfast after we stayed for the first night by the person who set-up the breakfast. That was the only time we saw on-site staff was during breakfast. I would strongly recommend that this hotel improve the check-in process and have an on-site staff person available at least during check-in hours so that the customers aren't as stressed as we were.

Unkompliziertes Self-Check-In, leckeres Frühstück und ein sehr modernes Zimmer.

Nur ein kleines Detail: es hatte kein Shampoo in der Dusche. Sonst war alles top.

Location was good. The room was nice and breakfast was very good.

Free toiletteries means 1 soap for two, no shampoo or nothing else. We were hiking and shampoo would have been nice. Just under our window there was a bar, and they had a lot of noice in the night. In the kiosk there were almost only drinks and all the shops were closed.

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

The self checkin worked fine but I can see it becoming an issue if the process does not go as expected ad there is no staff on site.
