Lovely, spacious room. Amazing bath

We were in the Ty et suite which is a lovely large room. The bath nearly qualifies as a swimming pool.

Nothing.

Staff were terrific ! Polite and attentive.

Although everything was perfectly clean, there were areas that lacked attention. Bathroom floor didn't meat the skirting board and left a gap, (looking like the floor had dropped). Stain on bathroom ceiling looked really bad from a guests point of view. Sealant around part of shower was no longer there and just looked a bit neglected. The toilet roll holder wasn't secure, so the toilet roll slipped off when using it, just needed either tightened or resecured. I would just like to add, that everything that WAS in the room was exceptionally clean.

Travelling for work therefore the location was excellent as only a short drive in the morning, very central location and would be ideal to explore the surrounding area. Plenty of parking and a very easily accessible car park. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, very responsive to any questions that I had. The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money

The room I was in could do with an update/upgrade however I believe this may be part of a plan by the owner. I think some more seating in the bar area would be beneficial.

Hotel needs TLC…. Bit run down and drab. Food was ok…. Early bird menu not available to residents! water takes ages to heat up
