Al Blu Ortigia Apartments

The location was amazing.

This is a small but nice apartment in a fabulous location, right at the heart of Ortigia's beautiful pedestrianised area. The main bedroom is comfortable, the second room is right under the eaves, but also fine. Kitchen and bathroom are both small, but there is a fabulous shaded roof terrace.

The owner really needs to spend some money updating the contents of the apartment. Towels and bedlinen are very threadbare- there was a large hole in one of the sheets which the cleaner should not have just ignored. The blind on the attic bedroom was broken so it was very bright. The switch on the stove was broken and there was no means provided to light it. The handle on the coffee pot was also broken. This is a nice apartment but it should be checked to ensure it is at an appropriate standard.

apartment had little natural light being a ground floor set back. The apartment was dirty. Refrigerator had an odor, top and door gaskets filthy. Tablecloth filthy. top cover of bed with hair from previous users

Better linen would help. Shower stall could use some TLC.
