Palazzo Alfeo Aparthotel

The apartments are located in a beautiful spot with fantastic views beside the water. Very close to restaurants and bars. The complementary, stocked fridge with sparkling and still water, juices, milk and sparkling wine very nice touch. Also tea and coffee pods supplied. Barbara and staff always very helpful and friendly. A big thank you to Barbara for helping with our luggage, as parking restrictions mean that it's not possible to park anywhere close to the apartment. Lovely terrace. Very hot during the day/evening so the parasol very welcome but cable ties had been attached to the supporting structure of the parasol, it looked as if they were holding the lower section together. Not sure if this was the reason that we couldn't angle the parasol to provide proper shade, it was a shame, as we didn't get to take advantage of the terrace. Also, the parasol could benefit from a bit of a clean.

No fault of Palazzo Alfeo, but during our stay, there was a bar/ nightclub close by which had loud, thumping music playing very late. As previously mentioned, we didn't really get to fully enjoy the terrace.

The location of this property is everything! I enjoyed the most incredible sunset right from the terrace outside our apartment. The property is just along from some lovely bars to enjoy an aperitif too! Inside the apartment was well equipped and comfortable. All the staff are fantastic and so friendly. Barbara was amazing and so helpful during our stay. Would definitely return here again.

No washing machine at the moment, however I believe that the apartments are going to be renovated soon to include washing machine facilities.

Great location being on the sea … Valet park there otherwise you need to walk a distance. We didn’t use our car til we left, Ortiga easy to walk around

Shower a bit small. A|C struggled as the property got all the afternoon sun.

This is one of the best locations in all of Ortigia. The rooms have breathtaking views of the waterfront, are spacious, with A/C, and a nice, big bathroom. Our family of 3 had plenty of room, with one king bed and one sofa bed (which were both very comfortable). While the price per night might be a bit more than other places, it is completely worth it for the views and location. It will be a place I will remember for years to come and made our time in Ortigia that much more memorable. The staff were extremely helpful, especially after our flight to Catania was delayed significantly and our arrival time to hotel was late into the night. We communicated well over Whatsapp and the team was extremely responsive and caring. Don't hesitate to book here, it is a wonderful place!

Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. A lovely place to stay.

On the day of check in the staff failed to respond to our messages for more than three hours and failed to pick up the telephone five times. We had a very stressful check in as a result.
