Travelodge by Wyndham San Clemente Beach

酒店设施比较老一些。前台年长点的阿姨特别友好。

Owners of the property are really helpful and kind.

Good location, decent room, though smaller than I thought it would be. Clean and comfortable. Had issue with neighbors fighting and took to long for staff to get involved or contact police.

Clearly an older property, but maintained well for its age and the room was very clean overall. Hotel very easy to find. Free parking and office offered a cart to bring luggage up. Rooms off an inside corridor. Owner was very nice and friendly and was happy to share information about the area. Really appreciated that smoking was allowed on the balcony outside with chairs and ashtray provided. Could see the water from our balcony. Fridge, microwave and single-serve coffee maker very clean and functional. Comfortable beds with sparkling white bedding. A/C unit appeared new and worked great. Outlets on the nightstand made charging your devices convenient. TV allowed a Roku hookup (though not every streaming service worked properly). In-room safe, iron and ironing board and a decent-sized closet area with ample hangers. Very effective blackout drapes. Nice variety of lighting in the room made it easy to customize how bright you wanted it, and all the lights worked properly. Ice maker available in front of office. Liquor store next door and lots of good delivery options via DoorDash, UberEats etc. with delivery straight to your room, not just the lobby. Property shows obvious care by the owners/management and careful attention to detail with really only one exception (discussed in the "what didn't you like" section).

The only real complaint I have is that the bathtub in the room wasn't really usable. The edge of it is SUPER low, which is great if you have mobility issues, but I feared it would overflow too easily. Also, no drain stopper was available; when I asked the front desk, they said California was trying to conserve water so they weren't allowed to offer them. The shower head was the only thing in the entire room that wasn't as clean as I'd have liked. It was covered with white residue (hard water, maybe?). Housekeeping assured me they scrub it with baking soda. I suggested vinegar and they said perhaps they'd try it tomorrow, but that was too late as we were leaving the next morning. Good thing we were only staying two nights, but I had brought bath bombs looking forward to a nice soak, so that was disappointing. Kind of pricey for a Travelodge, but still a steal compared to other hotels in the area. Can't blame them for having competitive pricing for lodging in a very expensive area. Freeway noise was pretty loud on our side of the building, but much more noticeable when we were out on the balcony. If you are a heavy sleeper, it won't disturb you too much. Lastly, and this isn't the owner's fault, but some websites listed the property as having a hot tub; there's no pool or hot tub here. Not sure if there's room anywhere, but that would make a wonderful addition to this facility.

Easy check in. Easy parking. Welcoming staff. Clean. AC, internet and tv were awesome. Staff recommended us what to do and see.

So close to the beach and it was clean!

The staff was very friendly and the property was clean. There was no gym or pool -- but we were there for the Beach, and you can't beat the price. This was exactly what we needed for this type of visit.

Next to a major freeway, very noisey at night. Hotel itself was fine, albeit a little outdated. There was a lot of banging and yelling coming from the room next to mine late into the night, although that's not the hotel's fault.
