It was available on short notice on a Friday night in San Clemente and had the cheapest advertised rate on booking.com

close to the freeway so it is noisy. beds and linens are not so comfortable. Hotel is pretty bare bones for $250+ per night. All doors lead outside.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and they kindly accommodated both us and our bikes during our stay. I also appreciated the balcony, which was a nice touch. The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of San Clemente Beach and close to a trolley stop that makes it easy to reach both the beach and the main street (Del Mar). The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for an overall pleasant stay.
