The staff were the best part of this stay.

All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was always delicious and had great options (eggs, bacon, waffles, croissants, cereal, and oatmeal). The gentlemen that runs the breakfast area is amazing and makes sure everything is stocked and will get you a utensil if you forgot to grab one. The room we stayed in was really nice - was great to have a kitchen to do some cooking! A special shout out to the evening receptionist (Persy I think). She made sure we were looked after and gave us recommendations for stores in the area. And went above and beyond and did little photoshoots for us and some other guests when we came back from dragoncon in our cosplays. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice hotel and well situated to access lots of lovely bars and restaurants down the street. It’s a few minutes from the bus and tube station also so plenty around. The hotel is comfortable and the rooms are nice with a small balcony and kitchenette. We asked to check in early and although we were I totally told the room was ready, it wasn’t but we had breakfast and went for an explore locally which wasn’t an issue. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a bit bland. Cooked options were limited but enough to start your day off well.

I have been staying at this hotel for 14 years, since it is close to business that I frequently have nearby and I like the restaurant across the street, as well as the roominess of a Residence Inn Suite. This week I had a reservation and five hours before check-in I received an email that they would be unable to honor my reservation (which had been made well in advance) and would be relocating me to another hotel. I called to verify this information and was told that they were extending the stays of guests who had delays due to the hurricane and that several rooms were also out of commission due to HVAC issues. I was also told that the hotel will soon be undergoing renovations, which will further limit their ability to have any guests staying at the hotel. I am a Gold Elite member with Marriott Bonvoy, and have never once been "bumped" on a hotel room in decades of business travel. For the inconvenience, I was promised 25,000 Marriott points, none of which have showed up on my account. The hotel they relocated me to was not in any way equivalent (Hampton Inn) and was in a very inconvenient location for me. Once a favorite, I will definitely avoid this hotel in the future.

Cool building either way great historic vibes, awesome location. Piedmont park not far, great restaurants, the MARTA train close by…

No pool, but we knew that when we booked.

Lovely hotel and a good location near an underground tube station, which provides good access to the local amenities. Lots of nice bars nearby. Breakfast doesn’t have much in terms of hot options, scrambled eggs, small buns, either bacon or sausages with cereal and bagels. Hotel is looking a little worn but the rooms are comfortable, although ours had missing light shades on both bedside lights and the room doesn’t come with any complimentary water.

Let me start by saying front desk staff Paul and Jersey were absolutely amazing and accommodating. Our balcony suite for myself, mate, daughter and five mont old baby was beautiful however and unfortunately the AC was not working. Paul brought us fans and we were going to tough it out due to the hassle of moving. It became unbearable and we had to move. Paul moved us to two rooms. The next day my daughter’s room also had a broken AC unit. Jersey moved her to a new room right away to accommodate her and the baby. Again, Paul and Jersey were amazing. The breakfast was nice as well. (This was July in Atlanta Ga…..it was extremely hot)
