Second stay at this hotel. Staff helpful and location very convenient.

I arrived late due to a long drive so around 12am but phoned to let them know that, was told it's 24hr reception. Good size carpark Quick check in but no info given. I've stayed here about 10 years ago and unfortunately it's definitely not had any love since then. The room was a good size but looked very worn (I mean it was clean as best as possible). The shower room was also a good size again very dated and looking a sorry sight. A ceiling tile was open as shown in the video! Bed wasn't the best, very thin mattress with springs. Shower was very fable lacking pressure. Didn't test wifi Breakfast not included unsure about adding it It's a cheap hotel! So to be expected really. Has a spa and leisure center but didn't use it. Also a pub restaurant. Probably wouldn't stay again as there are better hotels closer by. Unless it's had a good makeover in the future!!!

This was a return stay and we were offered one of the more upto date room. Unfortunately, two things: firstly the room although slightly modernised was damp and not to our taste, secondly the walls are paper thin and the music and conversations of adjoining room guests could be heard past midnight disrupting our sleep. On speaking with reception they were able to move us to another room. How difficult is it for a chef to make poached eggs for breakfast so my wife had to back them as they were too snotty. We were offered a refund or for them to be redone but my wife declined both. So overall not as good an experience as last time but the staff are so helpful and this is the eeason we would use Fairways Lodge again.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and accommodating! Would stay again however could get noisy on a night. Wouldn’t put us off in the future though

The Fairway is a comfortable hotel, albeit basic. Our room was clean and served its purpose for a one night stay. The staff are friendly. The bar area is nice. Cooked breakfadt id very good. Taxi service available into the city. We would stay there again.

Quiet and clean

Worst nights sleep ever was kept awake all night by screaming baby at the top of its lungs from night till early morning aswell as constant loud banging from the fire door slamming open and shut non stop with people going out for a cigarette. When I complained at the reception in the morning I was given the managers number to contact and complain when I tried to phone him I was continually fobbed off and then staff were audibly laughing at my requests. Terrible customer service.

This hotel was a extreamky lively hotel. Our bext door guests were singing and shouting at 15.00 in the afternoon.We wanted to get an hours rest. Had to complain at receotion, theg then moved us to a much quieter room but it was a long way to walk. This hotel is ideal if you want North or Central Manchester, which is approx £8.00 by taxi.

It is a nice setting, very quiet and peaceful with access to local convenience shopping rather than retail... Parking is easy with a large car park free/included (my pet peeve is all these hotels now charging stupid fees for parking). BUT it is more than a bit tired... My room itself was fine (I think had been redecorated sometime) but the corridors - in addition to being a maze - are very worn and probably date from the 80s. However I had a good sleep and the staff were great and thats the main thing.
