Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield

I booked here because of reviews. I read someone's review about highway noise. I reached out on the Hilton app to ask about a room away from the highway. The worker responded that she blocked me a room away from highway. I stated I was a light sleeper. When I arrived I was put on the first floor in the corner. I looked out and the highway was right out my windows. As soon as I walked into the bedroom I could smell a sweaty dirty head smell. I smelled the pillows and went and asked for some different pillows. Those didn't smell nice, but were slightly better. The mattress needs to be replaced. I felt like the bed slept on me. So between the bed and highway noise I didn't get much rest. Cobwebs above bed. They need to invest in some dusters? My partner took a shower the handle came off in her hands. Stay away from 108. Place needs an update. The highlight was the omlette we had for breakfast. Surely was a disappointment as there are many places to stay in area. Money better spent elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay under terrible circumstances, we were in town for a funeral and received wonderful service. From check in, to breakfast and an evening nightcap. Heather from the restaurant was particular wonderful. Going above and beyond, and really catering to us. Such a Jen!

Excellent breakfast. Big room. Efficient elevators. Clean room

No USB ports near beds. Bathroom dated. All the pillows were very soft, a mix would have been appreciated.

Great value for price. Big Clean rooms. Shuttle for the local area which is great. Made to order breakfast by kind employees Isabel, Estrella and whole crew. They were so nice! Thank you!

Mayra was the besssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst!!!!!!!! She made sure our food order was made correctly, drinks was on point… out of all the bartenders I’ve experienced with other Embassy hotels she was the best… the rooms was good tooooo…. My daughter also loves the breakfast, it’s fresh made to order…. The front desk is nice too… buuuuuuuut the highlight of my stay was meeting Mayra, she’s amazing!!!!

Mayra was such a great bartender. She is professional, pleasant and she really made me order the most expensive stuff . And I totally enjoyed the steak, if she did t upsell me from my first choice, chicken to steak I would not know about how great the steak was. I own a restaurant and I would even want to recruit her as my bartender but she was so loyal to Embassy! Just want to let the embassy know that you guys are lucky to have her as your bartender!!

Isabel, Estrella, Jonathan, and Ana make the breakfast experience amazing. Best omelette made fresh to order each morning.

I had to drop everything due to my job begging me to fly to Chicago. This would have been an awful experience but this place helped make it that much better. Isabel, Irma, Gstrella, and Ana were impeccable when it comes to service during the free breakfast. If nothing else, this hotel’s staff will make you feel right at home even during a freeze warning.
