Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa

We had a wonderful time and Shakira was very kind and helpful with checking us in and helpful with our room keys!! She is amazing person to encounter ask for her if your ever at the front desk!!!

We loved our stay at Sonesta Maho beach resort ! People are so nice, food was excellent and the Kids loved it. Thank you to Dorian and all other employees who was so gentle. :)

We had a really great vacation at Sonesta. The food was good for an all inclusive.( we have been to many) The people were very nice. Simone served us happily at the buffet every day and she helped to make our stay very pleasant. Shaunta did a great job cooking the pasta and chatted with a smile. The pasta was delicious. Jovanny (the manager at the front desk) was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed watching the planes and we were always able to find a place for our family of three to sit. I felt that the hotel was clean and they came around daily to stock the refrigerator. The water was beautiful and we enjoyed the entertainment.Especially the guitar player who played at the Italian restaurant. The only complaint that I have is the shower situation. Each time we took a shower the bathroom flooded due to how the shower is made. This can be easily fixed in the off season by raising the tile or adding an extra piece of glass. Overall, we had a wonderful relaxing vacation and we were very happy!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay with plenty of food choices! Sonesta Maho Resort in Sint Maarten was fantastic! While not every single dish was to my taste, there were so many options to choose from. The variety across the different restaurants and buffets meant everyone in our group found something they loved. Great location, friendly staff, and beautiful views. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone! I will definitely come back.

I read some of the reviews before we got to this resort and the negative reviews in my opinion weren't very accurate. We had the best time but the workers at this resort made it special. Every worker that we interacted with were so friendly and kind. Two in particular were extra special and deserve a shoot out (Sharon) at the restaurant was so efficient and friendly, she greeted me every morning calling me Sunshine 🌞. Also Mykal at the bartenders at the pool bar spoiled me rotten. He would pour my drinks before I even made it to the bar. He was so attentive, professional and kind. The food at all of the restaurants were really good. We're going on a cruise in December and I already told my husband that we're going to stay at this resort for the day. My only complaint is that we had cold showers in room 382 in the mornings but by the afternoon the water would be hot. We had 2 call down to reception. Workers came up but the water wasn't fixed until the morning we left. Anyway i'd still return because of the location and the wonderful workers at this resort. Sonesta Maho see you in December.

We spent 2 weeks at Sonesta Maho Beach. The Good: The beach was honestly one of the best parts of the trip. We originally planned to visit Mullet Bay and Cupecoy often, but the beach at the resort was beautiful enough that we did not feel the need to leave most days. The beach is shared with another resort, and although the beach chairs are not directly in front of the water, they are still well located. The buffet dinner was surprisingly excellent, some of the better buffet food we have had at an all-inclusive. We tried the à la carte restaurants but ended up preferring the buffet most of the time. The food overall was decent, and importantly, we never got sick during the 2-week stay. The room itself was spacious, stylish, and fairly modern. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. We could not hear the neighbors at all, which made for great sleep. The AC worked well, and the shower pressure was amazing. The room also had American standard outlets, which was convenient. The Bad: Although the room looked modern, it was not the cleanest. There was mold in the bathroom and dirty cushions. The hot water was excellent once it arrived, but we often had to wait about 15 minutes for it. Service quality was inconsistent depending on where you were in the resort. Some staff were excellent while others seemed less engaged. The lobby was also freezing cold at all times, which became uncomfortable quickly. Another frustration was the coffee situation. Despite having a real espresso machine, most coffee drinks were made using pods, and the only espresso-machine drinks consistently available were cappuccinos. The Ugly: One of the biggest inconveniences was access to cash. The ATM in the lobby and even the pharmacy ATM were not functioning for us, so we had to go all the way to Philipsburg just to get money. What made this more frustrating was that the resort encouraged tipping, but staff could not provide small change for tips. We also avoided the pool area because the chlorine smell was extremely strong. Overall: Overall, we enjoyed parts of our stay, especially the beach, the buffet, and the quiet rooms. However, the cleanliness issues, inconsistent service, and logistical frustrations made the experience feel uneven. We would potentially return because of the all-inclusive value and beach, but next time we may consider trying Sonesta Ocean Point instead.

The location was perfect , room were nice . Service in the village tavern was great . The bartender was great during our stay . Made the time there very fun .We had good service all around and every age group had fun . Overall we were very happy and would stay there again . Only con is they should add more variety to restaurants and maybe some more shows .
