this is probably the best hotel in the UK if not the World !! Fantastic spa and evening a secret room that shows any live football...... Staff are the best in the Business. highly recommend !

Convenient, historic, loved the breakfast, and dinner was excellent too.

We very much enjoyed an overnight stay at Boringdon hall, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the small touches such as welcome drinks, fudge with turn down service and drinks and biscuits on departure were a nice touch. The spa was lovely and relaxing exactly what we needed! However we was disappointed that we could not use the outdoor hot tubs, having been informed these can only be used if privately rented at an additional cost something that is not specified on the advertisement when booking and something we was looking forward to.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in for years. And I stay in about 100 or more a year. The rooms and buildings a great but the spa is fantastic. Out of this world. I couldn’t spend enough time enjoying the various pools and rooms. The staff a amazing, such attention to detail, such helpfulness, great knowledge of the hotel itself but also of the art of hospitality and all combined with appropriate respectfulness and discretion. Truly worth every one of its 5 stars and the. Some. Don’t even consider another hotel in or around Plymouth.

Beautiful old Elizabethan mansion that presents immaculately and gives you a real sense of history. Fantastic service - nothing is too much for all the staff. I will be returning.

Beautiful place, Spa is absolutely stunning, however changing rooms were not very tidy, towels everywhere, could do with checking regularly. Food in Mayflower was only average as my burger was extremely salty. However could of been unfortunate on this occasion. Would definitely give it another go as the staff are very friendly and place is stunning

We had an amazing stay at Borington a one night spa break with another couple. staff are extremely attentive friendly and very well-trained without being robotic, The evening meal was outstanding, We were lucky enough to be there when a new menu was being introduced so we had lots of delicious extras. My only complaint would be the breakfast was very disappointing avocado and eggs on toast the avocado was grey and not at all fresh and shouldn’t have been served. but on balance I wonderful experience at Borrington.
