Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood-I-65S

Everything was great from comfy beds, to staff to breakfast.

Convenient, right off I-65, no need to hunt around or drive miles out of our way

My experience at the Brentwood Hampton Inn was significantly marred by a series of unfortunate events. Due to a flight cancellation, I attempted to contact the hotel multiple times to inform them of my delayed arrival. I tried calling the hotel directly, emailed, and even reached out to Expedia immediately after my flight was canceled, but faced complete communication blackout. Upon arrival, I discovered their phone system had been down for two days, which explained the lack of contact, but did not excuse the cancellation of my reservation and the "no-show" charge. The front desk staff, while polite, were unable to resolve the issue, and I was forced to pay a premium for a new room. The lobby was filled with other frustrated guests dealing with reservation problems. Adding to the frustration, my room lacked curtains, making it difficult to sleep. After finally getting to my room, I spent an additional hour on live chat with Expedia to secure a refund for the canceled nights. While I believe this was likely an outlier situation, the combination of communication failures, reservation mishaps, and the room issue made for an undeniably unpleasant stay.

The property is dated, dingy, and dirty.

It was nasty and disgusting. We did not stay there.

The people working there were really nice.

The room was very small with the furniture in it, and the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. There was no soap in the shower. it needs an overhaul. Pretty rundown.
