I would have preferred to know they were having some renovations during my stay- only one elevator available. I appreciated that the friendly staff told me about the cheaper parking option rather than park on site.

Staff were super attentive, love the soaps and products offered. Nice restaurant in the hotel, central location and easy walks to all sites.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Metcalfe Hotel. My husband was here on business but I was here for pleasure. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the bedroom was comfortable. The position of the hotel in Downtown Ottawa was also very convenient for visiting the places of interest in Ottawa. We would certainly return if we are in Ottawa again and recommend to our friends.

Excellent place to stay in when visiting Ottawa

The service at the hotel is excellent, its facilities unbeatable, and the attention and quality of its French restaurant are extraordinary. Above all, its desserts are wonderful!. But all this is not a coincidence, but rather the great and extraordinary work of its manager, Marian, who with her intelligence, kindness, attentiveness, and candor makes you feel not only welcome, but also like part of a great family.
