Hampton Inn Columbus/Dublin

The pool was clean and open. Close to all attractions we were going to so super convenient. Everyone was suepr friendly at the front desk! The room seemed clean and love that the air was working too notch and the water actually gets hot! My only comment would be the carpet seemed/smelled a little on the musty side but then again it was super hot and humid. Otherwise we enjoyed it.

There were many things that were disappointing here. I’ve stayed at this chain dozens of times and this is the first time being a negative experience. 1, at 10 pm the toilet wouldn’t flush. To be fair, they said they would send up someone, but I wanted to go to Bed. 2. Shower drain was stuck closed 3. Bed side lamp, bad bulb 4 no working ice machine on my and another floor. 5 no cups in the room 6. The tv had no guide or info so I could not see what the station was playing. 7. Breakfast hot food was cold. 8. Conditioner container in shower empty. I brought these matters up while checking out and was told the manager would be made aware. I was told I might get some points. The matter should have been addressed on the spot. I’ll give them a chance to give me some compensation, but will call if they don’t follow through Also , one of the 2 elevators was down and the pool was closed due to mechanical issues. Someone is not on top Of things there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot.

One of the elevators was broken both nights we were there, and the one that was working was really slow and got congested. While the breakfast was good, they ran out of plates the first morning and cups the second morning we stayed, which made eating a waffle out of a bowl and drinking OJ out of a bowl not fun. Our room had some pet odor as well, but that seemed to disappear after the first night. The sink in the bathroom was worn and some stains. All in all it was a decent stay, but we could tell the property was an older Hampton that needed some definite upgrades and renovations.

Our sink sink faucet in bathtub faucet.We're falling off other than that we had cold air and a nice pool. Ohh I just remembered our room had no hair dryer total bummer but no biggie. Would stay there again

Bad experience

Clean, close to the Columbus zoo.

Pool water had hazed look to it. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Bring your own!! Lesson learned.

Hilton Diamond here. I stay in A LOT of Hilton hotels each year and many of those are Hampton Inns. But I won’t come back to this one. Hotel was truly terrible during my 3 night stay for work. Let’s see: - room (128) smelled terrible. Like a combination that f pet urine and mildew. - ac was spotty and never really cleared the humidity from the room - no iron in the room - the closet looked like it had been beaten to hell for some reason - no half and half for coffee. Only sweetened Coffee mate. This was everyday I was there. I’m diabetic. Sweetened coffee mate don’t work. - suite shop was basically empty. - staff at check in couldn’t even give me the 2 bottles of water ordinarily given to Diamond members because they didn’t have enough water. I got 1 bottle and told to come back when the next shipment came in - no laundry facilities in the hotel On the plus side (and the only reason for even 2 stars) - room was physically clean (although that smell…) - good location near a couple places to eat and a movie theater - free parking Didn’t check out the pool or the fitness room. I will be returning to this area for work again, but I won’t be booking here. Stay away.

The pool was closed for the first 2 days we were there; one of the elevators were not working, then the one that was working, the ground floor button was broken and you had to ride the elevator until it ended up on the ground floor; breakfast was scarce all three of the mornings.
