Arrived on Thanksgiving. We were greeted by friendly carrying staff from reception through dinner. Room clean and comfortable. Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. Probably the best turkey I have had outside of my mom's.

We got a spot here on a great deal through Hotel Tonight and we were welcomed. The place has apparently been recently renovated and looked very nice. Our room had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. We did have a couple of issues with the room that we passed on to the staff. The headboard plug ins had no power. The toilet make some kind of horrid gurgling noise all night long at random intervals, like something wasn't venting right. It was loud enough to wake us up repeatedly even with the bathroom door closed. The room was otherwise clean and fully refreshed from the remodel. Staff was very receptive on the comments and took care of us well. Would be happy to come back again soon.

Jessica in the front desk was so rude

They completely changed the hotel and made it worse. They took down all of the artwork that made it unique and threw paint at it. The restaurant is different and the menu is boring. The Starbucks coffee counter has been replaced by a coffee spot which serves only a small coffee and the people were rude. The shower curtain had three big bloodstains on it. The shampoo dispenser wasn’t working. The towels were small and they only had two. The blow dryer had so much lint it was barely working. This was such a disappointment because we have enjoyed staying there in the past. They use to provide free water but now you have to buy bottles and refill them at water stations. Customer service is gone. We will not be going back.

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids aged 16 and 9) stayed at the Camby for 3 nights as part of the Phoenix leg of our Arizona trip. We booked a double room with mountain views and went for the hotel as the luxury part of our trip especially as we were arriving there straight after our arrival flight from the UK. The hotel is in a good location about 20 minutes drive from the airport and the area is in Biltmore which is a great location, very upmarket with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. In particular, the Biltmore Fashion Park is walking distance across the road accessed via a very convenient underpass and as well as shops there were nice places to eat there as well. Lobby decor is very nice and felt 5 star but our biggest disappointment was our room which was tired with fraying carpet, a broken shower and worst of all a bad musty smell in the room. We spoke to the front desk around this and they sent someone to fix the shower but despite a request to deep clean the room the smell never went away. I think we were unlucky with this particular room rather than all the rooms being this way but definitely not the quality you would expect in a 5 star hotel. There were other things in the room that just weren't well designed (lack of side tables, fridge just sitting out on the floor) which contributed to the let down. The hotel has a pool area on the 1st floor which is nicely done with views of the nearby city view and a decent amount of seating, but the pool is tiny. Luckily most of the time we went it was just my son and I! There is a restaurant at the hotel which did mainly Mexican, burgers and similar and also serves breakfast - we went a couple of times with meals at about $100 for the 4 of us but found that you could get more reasonably priced better food within walking distance (Breakfast club across the road). Compulsory valet all worked well although you will need to factor the additional $35/night into your costs. I also was surprised at the lack of other fun options at the hotel for families, they had one movie night at the pool but that was about it. Overall we were a bit disappointed given we were expected 5 star and only got what I would consider as 3 star - so would struggle to recommend for a family stay - I think you could have had a better experience at some of the other hotel chains not far away where you get a good breakfast included.

Beautiful location. Room was basic but clean. The view was great, but I’m certain it wasn’t the summit view I paid for and that’s disappointing. I expected a much higher level of service offerings and the pool was huge disappointment. The staff was nice. The food and beverage team made an effort for our anniversary that redeemed our stay. I would give it another try in the future.

Great staff. The facilities were wonderful and the decor was lovely. The pool and fitness center were really nice. Excellent proximity to the nearby mall.
