Mamamia Island Villa

A disappointing stay. First of all i want to say that the staff in the hotel, the 2 receptionists boys and the other 2 housekeeper (?) boys are wonderful. They helped with every problem that we had, and they really tried to make our stay better. When we came into the room, the first impression was good, we immediately noticed a crack in the floor, almost felt like we were gonna fall in. The hygiene could be better, the towels were not as fresh and the mosquito net had stains. The bed was comfortable though. The bathroom layout could of been better, if i took a shower, the toilet was getting wet aswell as the sink. On the 2nd night our toilet got plugged and almost overflooded. The boys came immediately to fix the problem though. Than the worst of all, we had rat/mice in our ceiling and walls that would wake us up at night with cratching and squeaking noises. We were really terrified and almost wanted to leave early. We also found poop on the floor. Also the front door almost fell into my partner, as it went out of the socket. 1 night we had to sleep with the door open because the reception was already closed. Breakfast could of been better. It was do-able.

mushroom bay is close by & you can rent motorbikes at the place.

there are animals in the roof like mice or rats that keep you up at night you hear them crawling. The sheets at the beginning of our stay had hairs and stains on them.

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, peaceful location. Staff went out of their way to help with anything, including arranging a birthday cake for one of our group!

No restaurant on site so food was delivered from another location. However, it still arrived quite fresh and the staff were amazing!

Water Pressure not good and very minimal hot water

Lovely stay as always! Amazingly kid-friendly, quiet location with great breakfast included and next door to wonderful restaurant. Good side of the island for access to Mushroom Bay and swimming beach as well as sunset lookout. Staff are amazing and will organise everything you need for your stay including transport, tours, snorkelling etc.
