Staff were polite and attempted to help with the room condition

Our room had no air conditioning. Indoor poolside room. AC was broken. At first, we were told it was warm because of the pool. Room beside us, same side had AC and was very comfortable. Staff came to the room after 2nd call. We were provided with an industrial fan. Very loud. Had to turn it off and leave the door open. It's not safe for us. We did receive some points and a refund for the pet charge. 50$ Staff were nice but totally unprepared for this dilemma. We did check in at 530pm. Informed them of the issue promptly. 8pm fan was delivered after the second call and room visit. No other rooms were available. I was hoping for a full refund!
