Though there was construction to remodel nearby rooms, there were other issues that were relevant. Ants in the bathtub, it took the hot water over 10 minutes to heat up, and the jacuzzi was not working. The Continental breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The floor was stained and sticky. The room was so perfumed you couldnt breath. Like they were trying to hide a smell. Bathroom was very small. The grout was discolored and poor condition. It was evident they were doing room upgrades.

No hot water. Switched rooms. In the morning there was no hot water.

Very disappointed and felt unsafe. It’s going under renovation—but the worksite is kept clean or maintained. Lots of trash and garbage throughout. Our room was renovated but no hot water. Was advised by front desk to run water for a least 30 minutes. It became warm ish. Too wasteful. Neighbors next door smoking pot (legal here in NM but I thought rooms were non-smoking period). Very sketchy overall. Was going to stay the whole weekend—NOPE! I’m eating another night’s worth of charges which sucks.

Room was dirty, fridge looked like its never been cleaned. Condom wrappers right next to beds just gross. Outside was just as gross.

The front desk ladies didn't look they were interested in doing their jobs of welcoming new guests, they were rude. When I approached them to check in about 45 mins early to check in, they said our rooms were not ready. Then after about 2 mins of talking, they suddenly said the room is ready, which I found to be strange. The coffee they served at breakfast was also cheap and tasted like it was decaf.

The room was nice and clean. The heated indoor pool was a welcomed reprieve given personal circumstances at the time.

The staff were very unhelpful when it came to checking in. Even tho the room was paid for already, they refused to allow us to check in until 3pm! Then they charged my card again for the stay. Saying that it was declined by booking.com. I'm still waiting for a resolution for this as I type this.

A completely awful experience. First, the rooms were filthy and in disrepair. Broken door moldings, and dirty bathrooms. The breakfast was not fit for human consumption. But the BIG thing was, they were supposed to give us 2 nonsmoking rooms. Well, one had clearly been smoked in, so I took that one and gave my wife and daughter the other one. But by morning, my wife's room was filled with fire ants and other bugs. They got into the bed, their towels, and all into their suitcases. Why, you ask? Because the hotel staff and management kept garbage cans and trash bags filled with food was (pizza boxes, fast food bags, rotten food from the breakfast) simply piled up near a garbage can near the rooms. (See photos.) We didn't see the trash when we checked in at night, but by morning the trash with all the insects making a straight line to the rooms were right there. Told management. After a trip to the caverns we came back 5 hours later. Nothing moved or cleaned up. This place is a dump.
