Residence Inn by Marriott Missoula Downtown

This is a really nice Residence Inn and has little decor touches that remind you you’re in Montana. There are shops and restaurants in the hotel - The Camino is excellent Mexican food. There’s a great market across the street (I believe it was Feotn Street Market), they have awesome made to order sandwiches and great coffee. And, this is a very walkable area, so you don’t need a car if you’re just planning to stay around town. I will definitely stay here again.

Being downtown was great but because I was new to the town, I needed to know where to walk the dog. When I asked, staff wasn’t specific and didn’t share knowledge that would have been helpful. I finally discovered the park by the river which was perfect. Parking was a bit confusing at first, but understood it later.

The location is perfect! We ate at the 1889 Steakhouse and didn’t even have to leave the building! Always exceeds our expectations every time we stay at the Residence Marriott in Missoul!

Might be the best place to stay in all of downtown Missoula as it's right in the center and once you park, you can walk to everything. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and all the restaurants. We will stay here again!

A bit pricey.

With the exception of the cool night clerk with ear plugs, the front desk staff in this hotel needs serious uptraining. They falsely extend your stay, charge your card for unauthorized charges, and unnecessarily escalate issues into serious problems. They also don’t follow Bonvoy rules. No matter how often you request a manager, you’ll never get a call. Marriott’s advice is to call them and a supervisor will 3 way the hotel general manager to get you the help you need. It is that bad.
