The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center

The hotel was nice, staff was friendly, however there is no hot tub yet in the pictures online, there is. They obviously filled it in after tbose pictures were taken. That was a huge disappointment as that was one of the reason we booked there.

Convenient to all locations of interest. Very true to Penn State form - the lobby is very nice.

The tubs need an upgrade. Discoloration was a little unseemly. I had made a reservation at The Garden and no one came to seat me or show me how things worked there. Ended up canceling the reservation: the front desk staff are amazing and very welcoming.

The Penn Stader was exactly what we needed during our trip to Penn State. Beautiful spacious rooms and excellent customer service. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Comfortable, clean, up-to-date accommodations and excellent staff service. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet in the Gardens Restaurant was nearly all meat-based, with four or five meat entrees. Even the home fries had pork in them. There was no vegan protein. Even just tofu scramble sautéed in a little olive oil would be nice. The catered lunch in Presidents Hall was very good, with at least three vegan entrees and several clearly labeled vegan sides.
