Quality Inn & Suites Georgetown

Very old and doors rusted and paint peeling. Hole in the wall hear the door it open to the outside. Ice machines falling apart not working. Covers on outside air considers were falling off. The good thing the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a bag of chips.

Bed bugs the room doors needs to be replaced bathroom walls nasty AC vents and filters dirty.

Disgusting I had fleas all over my arm and hair. They won't give me a refund . Lady at the front desk was a nasty person.

Staff was friendly.

No breakfast was served. They said they were renovating so they had bags of snacks. The place is run down and needs renovations desperately.

I reserved two rooms for a family trip we made at the last minute to attend a funeral in Georgetown. Sadly, there weren't many choices, but I figured the Quality Inn brand should be fine, plus they advertised free breakfast. This hotel is in shambles. As you walk along the outdoor corridors, vent covers from room AC/Heat units are lying on the sidewalk. The pool was empty (not surprising in March), but it had debris inside it, like the work there had been abandoned. The (outside) corridor walls were lined with worn-out upholstered chairs that had been removed from rooms, but not removed from the premises. Our door, operated with an electronic key, was almost impossible to open, and the walls inside our room were crumbling. The shower quit working while my husband was in it with soapy hair. The TV in my brother's room didn't work and the TV in my room had a major problem that made it look like 2 dozen individual floodlights shining through--when my husband complained about it, he was told that the person staying in the room the night before had the same complaint. The final straw was walking down to the free breakfast and seeing that the "breakfast" was bowls of packaged cheese crackers. Thankfully, there was a gas station next door where we could get something to eat without leaving in the car. The one saving grace for this crumbling hotel was the wonderful staff who did a great job cleaning the rooms and who were very accommodating at the front desk. This hotel badly needs maintenance and I'm surprised it's even open to the public.

The location was convenient and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly and professional, however this facility was in very poor shape and I did not have a comfortable stay there. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom sink area is new and clean

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the furniture was stained and the curtains were broken. The emergency lights outside were broken so they were blinking into the window all night. There was a lot of noise from other guests or tenants, in neighboring rooms. Arguing, shouting, swearing, and a lot of movement in and out of the rooms overall. There is a empty lot with dumpsters and trash bins near the rooms at the back and there were 2 people back there that seemed to be drunk or on drugs. While one cant tell if the people were staying there, friends of people staying there, or just hanging out there; the lot & dumpsters are very close to the rooms, so you can see and hear anything from that area. The facilities are extremely run down, an empty pool with construction materials scattered here and there, broken air conditioners, stair ramps etc. From the front of the building and the lobby it looks okay, but the surroundings and other guests made for an unpleasant night with little sleep.

Not worth the money. Old and worn down rooms and facilities in general. The room we stayed in were filthy and dirty. Smelled of tobacco or rather “funny tobacco”. The air conditioner in the room was so filthy it smelled in the room when it was running. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The staff were friendly and smiling, that’s the only positive thing about the hotel.

Kvaliteten af hotellets værelse, dårlig rengøring, morgenmad samt yderligere opkrævning på 100 USD. Der opkræves yderligere 100 USD til trods for, at der ikke er er skabt et grundlag for yderlige afstraffelse. Morgenmad er ringe og begrænset. Der opkræves et depositum, som bør refunderes, idet opholdet ikke har medført yderligere “afstraffelse”. Hotellet bør således afskaffes som hotel i relation til Booking.com, da hotellet ikke har sendt redegørelse af beløbet i form af en kvittering, herunder begrundelse for opkrævning af depositum.
