"81 on Church is a beautiful retreat and a calm gentle space to nourish the soul."

Johan is an excellent host, the cottage we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable, and as for the garden - serene overflowing with beauty and flowers, the happy sound of birds and buzzing bees. Idyllic. An extra bonus for me, were Thomas and Lily the Italian Greyhounds and Stoffel the big fluffy ginger cat. The cottage was also very well positioned to allow walking access to the town and the Journey to Jazz performances.

"Little oasis in the middle of town."

We stayed in one of the outside cottages which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and the location is very central. We had everything we needed. Looks better than the pictures.

"A wonderful find"

Stayed in one of the cottages for 2 nights. Beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. A private veranda overlooking a gorgeous and interesting garden. I would definitely stay here again. Johan is a great host. There when you need him and respecting your privacy when you don’t. A must
