Beautiful setting Johann charming and helpful host

Centrally located. Our host, Johan, was friendly and very accommodating in that he upgraded us from the family room to two separate garden cottages, which we were thrilled about. He made a restaurant booking for us, and advised us on a fig farm visit, which was well worth it. Johan was there for us if we needed anything, but was discreet and left us to do our own thing. The pool, although small, was adequate to cool off in from the heat. Serene garden. The spacious rooms had the choice of aircon or a ceiling fan, which were easy to operate and worked well. Comfortable beds. Ample bedding/pillows and towels. Our cottage had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The rooms were serviced daily, and came with plentiful tea/coffee and fresh milk from the local dairy, as well as Johan's delicious homemade rusks.

There was nothing much to dislike. I would only say that one of the cottages had a shower that was a little tricky to regulate to the ideal temp (the one with the outdoor shower). Nonetheless would definitely want to stay again if ever back in Prince Albert.

Our stay at Johan's place was truly exceptional. Johan was an incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The garden, a true paradise, offered a serene escape with its lush greenery and vibrant flowers, plants and herbs and vegetables. The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful retreat.
