Le Premier Luxury Rooms

This is not a hotel per se, it is one of two rooms on the remodeled third floor of an ancient building in the Old City part of Split. The ground floor is a pizzeria, the next floor up is an occupied private apartment, the next floor up(third floor) has been remodeled into two guest rooms (room 1&2, with separate entrances) and the top floor is another remodeled guest room (room 3). We stayed in Room 2. There is no vehicle access to the Old City, so you have to walk over cobblestones and through narrow streets and then up a narrow staircase - there is no elevator. This is difficult with luggage. Also, the photos show a rooftop deck, but this is only accessible to Room 3. Our room (2) is a small room with three windows, each of which look out on stone walls which are just a couple of feet away - The bathroom door doesn’t close because it drags in the floor, so there is no privacy. The insulation is poor and you can hear the footsteps of the people in room 3, one floor up. Communication before check-in was poor. I got a request for my passport info 4 days before check-in and then the day before check-in they claimed not to have received it. By the morning of check-in, they had not sent me the PIN codes to access the room so I had to call and ask. I would not stay there again.

Room as very comfortable, bed and pillows were great

Sounds carried from the street. There was a festival our first night which was very loud late into the night/morning. After that the noise was manageable

Loved the location of the property and the town itself. Great choice of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner within close proximity. Would stay here again.

The location, it was close to everything we wanted to see. The room and bathroom was light and airy and a good size. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Three flights of stairs and having to park outside the old town. However, this is to be expected if you want to stay in old town.

Rooftop terrace is great. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. Nice to have the hot tub but water could have been hotter. Very good central location.

Room lacking some decor. Didn’t check about the stairs - ok for us but four floors could be a problem for some travellers. Cafe across the street very noisy at night.
