Friendly staff. Nice beer garden. Very noisy from road at night.

Great staff,extremely helpful,good food and drink,convenient area for guests to get around and only a short walk from the station.

Loved our stay, clean, lovely staff and food, only thing that we would say is warn your guests of music, we where right above the bar and as early bedders as day people we could not sleep wuould have been nice to be given a choice.

Friendly staff and the room was clean. Only gripe that the room was really small and extremely hot only due to the hot weather.

Very good value! Large room in historic pub. Building is full of character with wonky beams and creaky floor boards, and our room had an incredible four poster bed. Everything was clean and linens were all good quality. Bathroom could use some minor retouching but was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in the peak of summer (30 degree days) and did find it was very hot and there was no fan in the room. Trade off between having the windows open to help cool off which also let in a fair amount of street noise overnight. Probably wouldn’t typically be an issue though and will stay again!

We have been to Shrewsbury before, but this is the best location. Lots to do and the shops are great.

Excellent location Room quite small for a long stay but perfect for light travellers for a couple of nights
