The Kingsbury at No7 & No8

Room was ample for us two including our dog; water was hot; breakfast was fresh and varied; bed comfy and warm; very little noise considering we were on a busy road; furnishings quirky and different Tried restaurant below the room, Bite Me Burger/Get Plucked - very friendly staff, food was fab and not too expensive Only 2 minor points to add - clock in room didnt work and neither did air freshener in bathroom (batteries gone maybe?) which did mean the drains in the bathroom were a little smelly

Rather too 'quirky' for out taste. Padding of the lintel of the bathroom off room 4 (& ? elsewhere) wouldn't come amiss.

Great location in the heart of Marlborough. No on-site parking but we got there late enough there was street parking. Thought our room was en-suite but bathroom was next door but private for our use only. Lucky they supplied robes. Breakfast was generous but could have used another chair and maybe a tv tray. Very comfortable and secure.

A lovely short stay in Marlborough. Lovely coffee and continental breakfast. Close to town centre. Only drawback, no off street parking.

Warm welcome, fresh boutique room, very comfortable with lovely bathroom and excellent breakfast. No onsite parking but easy to park nearby. Good for dogs - green space across the road.

Absolutely loved it here. They've made full usage of the room, the facilities were a fantastic touch. Genuinely, nothing to dislike.

Beautiful accommodation

We couldn’t stay as I am disabled and there was no parking which we didn’t know when booking, not really any car parks near enough. Also not very helpful as to trying to change our booking as we tried a few times to do.

We were not able to stay at the Kingsbury this time due to an unavoidable plumbing issue which resulted in our booking being cancelled. Communication about this was timely and clear, Simon was proactive about keeping us informed at every stage, he made sure we understood our options and booked us into suitable alternative accommodation without any stress, hassle or extra expense for us. Based on our experience, would definitely recommend and hope to return to give a fuller review another time!
