Arcadia Beach Resort Pattaya

The space was great and I had enough to get through my holiday. I do want to stay again if the price is good next time.

The windows and patio doors locks were broken so I couldn't lock the property, security is a big concern for me. Internet caused a few problems but I had a Thai SIM card so that helps over come thyr problem with WiFi but sometimes I have to disconnect to get data through. Very important for flight information. I had to buy a fan to save the air-conditioning being on constantly. This is ok but it might be an idea to supply one. I left mine with a friend but it's definitely a good idea to have one, it was on constantly.

Electricity expensive

Good location. Good pool. Good staff.

Told on arrival no booking exists

It's hard to rate this experience higher than 2 because I never actually got the apartment that I had initially booked. I chose Arcadia only because I liked the apartment presented here — beautiful garden view, first floor. Instead we were given a unit overlooking the roofs and a construction site. I tried talking to the management — unhelpful, I was given excuses and no real explanation. They didn't change the unit. They didn't even try to fix the problem. It was take it or leave it, considering the fact that I already paid for one month. The staff that was checking us in was horrible and just plain rude. All in all, the apartment was pretty beat up and needed some real deep cleaning. Also we were asked to pay 3000 baht deposit. Only got one set of keys and we're told pay another 1000 as a deposit for the second set. Ended up only using one set which was very inconvenient. 4000 as a deposit? Definitely not worth it.
