Artistic B&B

Beautiful authentic Spanish decorated room with great staff. Only downsides were thin walls, I heard someone snoring next door. The door to my bathroom scraped the bottom of the floor which made it difficult to open and shut however I was notified of this when I arrived. The main door lock was very hard to use for the first couple of days but then it was fixed. Overall great stay, most issues were discussed/fixed by staff. I can tell they are committed to giving a great stay for you. Would absolutely recommend.

The hotel (not a bib, maybe after covid) has an excellent location and is only abt a 5 min walk to any of the “big 3” Madrid museums. There are lots of unexpected and nice small amenities, rare for a budget hotel. The room was quite comfortable and at least the night I stayed, quiet. It is easy to see the host, Alvaro, loves his job, and he does it quite well. He was bubbling over with tips and information. Communication was almost immediate.

This is a great place to stay, hosts are very helpful and breakfast is excellent. There are quite a lot of stairs up to the apartments, so I would not recommend this place for older people, this that have mobility issues or this traveling with a lot of luggage. Location is great and easy walking to everything

Alvaro and his wife were amazing hosts! He was very helpful with directions to the hotel from the airport and gave us all kinds of advice on what to do while we were in Madrid. Both of them were extremely friendly and I felt like we talked with them for hours as if we were already family! Anyone going to Madrid should stay with them!

It was terrific. The room was comfortable, clean, great location. We will certainly stay there again.

A unique setting that gives a flavour of Old Madrid, this cosy bed and breakfast is a fantastic location for seeing famous landmarks, many within walking distance.
